WEDGE Africa partners with funders, organisations, researchers and institutions committed to evidence-led women’s economic empowerment in Ghana. We offer transparent implementation, rigorous learning and a field-based programme designed to test, improve and scale what works.
We are a young organisation with a serious approach. Here is what we can genuinely commit to.
We baseline before we start, monitor throughout and endline after. We publish what we find, including what did not work. If the data does not support a claim, we do not make it.
Partners receive structured updates on a fixed schedule. We report what is happening in the programme. If something is not going well, you will hear it from us first.
Our team has worked in Ghanaian agriculture and rural development for a combined period of decades. We do not design programmes from a distance. We work in the communities we serve.
These are the partnership types we are set up to manage well. If none fits what you have in mind, tell us and we will have an honest conversation about whether there is a good fit.
Support a complete 6-month GROW cohort from start to finish. Funding can be scoped to a single cohort, a specific programme component or a multi-year agreement. You receive quarterly updates against real indicators, not polished summaries. Field visit access is available subject to participant consent.
Enquire about fundingOrganisations with existing community reach can access the GROW methodology and deliver it in their own areas. Replication requires careful adaptation to local context. We support that process properly, including facilitator training, shared tools and ongoing peer learning. We do not simply hand over a document.
Discuss a delivery partnershipIf your organisation has genuine ESG commitments in gender equality, digital inclusion or sustainable agriculture, GROW can provide credible and measurable field evidence for your reporting. We do not treat visibility as a substitute for substance. Brand recognition may be appropriate, but only where the partnership is genuinely aligned with measurable outcomes for women farmers.
Explore a corporate partnershipWe welcome researchers, evaluators and journalists who want honest access to what we are doing, including the parts that are not working yet. We share programme data and methodology documentation openly. We do not manage what independent partners find or publish. Field access requires participant consent.
Send a research proposalRegardless of how you engage, every partner receives the same core commitments from WEDGE Africa.
Structured updates against agreed indicators — not curated success stories. Every quarter, on time, with honest commentary from the programme team.
Programme dashboard access where available, with indicators updated on an agreed schedule. Partners can see what is working, what needs attention and how learning is shaping delivery.
Every partner has a named contact on the WEDGE Africa team — not a generic inbox. Direct, responsive and accountable to you.
All partners receive the full Pilot Learning Report, including findings that challenge our assumptions. Shared with partners before public release.
