Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 1 June 2026 Last updated: July 2026 Governed by the laws of Ghana

Plain-English summary: Use the site honestly and lawfully. Don't copy or misuse our work — it belongs to WEDGE Africa. Our content is provided in good faith but we cannot guarantee it is always complete or error-free. We are not liable for how you use information from this site. Ghanaian law applies. That's the core of it — the detail below fills in the rest.

01

About WEDGE Africa

This website is operated by WEDGE Africa (Women Empowerment for Digital and Green Economy in Africa), a registered non-governmental organisation in Ghana. Our registered contact address is available in Section 14.

References to "we", "us", and "our" throughout these Terms mean WEDGE Africa. References to "you" mean any person accessing or using this website.

Our website is located at wedgeafrica.org. These Terms apply to all pages, content, and functionality on that domain and any sub-domains we operate.

02

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this website — including reading content, submitting the contact form, downloading materials, or signing up for the newsletter — you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use this website.

These terms do not affect your statutory rights under Ghanaian law or, where applicable, the laws of your own jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit rights you have by law that cannot be excluded or limited.

03

  • Using content in a way that misrepresents WEDGE Africa
  • Automated scraping or harvesting of content or data
  • Attempting to gain unauthorised access to the site
  • Submitting false or misleading information through our forms
  • Framing or embedding this website without permission

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the website for anyone who violates these terms or who we reasonably believe is misusing the site.

04

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, data visualisations, reports, and the WEDGE Africa and GROW brand identities — is the intellectual property of WEDGE Africa and is protected under Ghanaian law and applicable international intellectual property conventions.

This includes in particular:

  • The GROW programme methodology — including session plans, frameworks, facilitation guides, and the Farm Record Book
  • The WEDGE Africa and GROW names, logos, and visual identity
  • All published reports and evidence documents, including the Pilot Learning Report
  • All original written content published on this website
  • All data, charts, and impact indicators displayed on this website

You may not reproduce, republish, sell, or redistribute any of our intellectual property without prior written consent from WEDGE Africa.

Fair use and citation: Researchers, journalists, and educators may quote limited extracts from our published content for the purposes of commentary, criticism, or research, provided that WEDGE Africa is clearly attributed as the source and the extract is not used in a misleading way. Please contact us if you are uncertain whether your intended use is permitted.
05

Knowledge Hub & Downloadable Tools

WEDGE Africa's Knowledge Hub (launching October 2026) provides access to a range of resources at different access levels.

  • Free / open-access materials — such as the Pilot Learning Report — may be downloaded and shared freely, provided WEDGE Africa is credited and the material is not modified or used out of context.
  • Practitioner tools — such as the Farm Record Book and Facilitator's Guide — are made available under specific licence terms communicated at the point of access. Purchasing or downloading a tool does not transfer ownership.
  • Organisational licences for delivery of the GROW methodology are governed by a separate written licence agreement. These Terms do not constitute or replace that agreement.
  • Facilitator Academy materials are provided exclusively to enrolled participants and may not be shared, redistributed, or republished.
Women-First Pricing principle: Where WEDGE Africa sells knowledge products, women participants in the GROW programme always access them at the most affordable tier. This is a non-negotiable organisational principle and cannot be waived by any licensee or partner.
06

Accuracy of Content

WEDGE Africa takes care to ensure that the information published on this website is accurate, up to date, and consistent with our evidence-led approach. However, we cannot guarantee that all content is always complete, current, or free from error. In particular:

  • Programme data and impact figures are updated periodically and may not reflect the most recent position at any given moment
  • Information about partnership opportunities, pricing, and Knowledge Hub availability is subject to change without notice
  • Content describing future plans represents our intentions and targets, not guarantees of outcomes

If you identify an error or outdated information on this website, we welcome you to notify us at info@wedgeafrica.org.

07
