Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of the WEDGE Africa website and the materials published on it. By using this site, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they are written to be understood, not to confuse.
About WEDGE Africa
This website is operated by WEDGE Africa (Women Empowerment for Digital and Green Economy in Africa), a registered non-governmental organisation in Ghana. Our registered contact address is available in Section 14.
References to "we", "us", and "our" throughout these Terms mean WEDGE Africa. References to "you" mean any person accessing or using this website.
Our website is located at wedgeafrica.org. These Terms apply to all pages, content, and functionality on that domain and any sub-domains we operate.
Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using this website — including reading content, submitting the contact form, downloading materials, or signing up for the newsletter — you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use this website.
Acceptable use
You may use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with WEDGE Africa's mission and values. The following sets out what is and is not permitted.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the website for anyone who violates these terms or who we reasonably believe is misusing the site.
Intellectual property
All content on this website — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, data visualisations, reports, and the WEDGE Africa and GROW brand identities — is the intellectual property of WEDGE Africa and is protected under Ghanaian law and applicable international intellectual property conventions.
This includes in particular:
- The GROW programme methodology — including session plans, frameworks, facilitation guides, and the Farm Record Book
- The WEDGE Africa and GROW names, logos, and visual identity
- All published reports and evidence documents, including the Pilot Learning Report
- All original written content published on this website
- All data, charts, and impact indicators displayed on this website
Fair use and citation: Researchers, journalists, and educators may quote limited extracts from our published content for the purposes of commentary, criticism, or research, provided that WEDGE Africa is clearly attributed as the source and the extract is not used in a misleading way. Please contact us if you are uncertain whether your intended use is permitted.
Third-party content referenced on this website — including academic sources, government data, and partner materials — remains the intellectual property of its respective owners.
Knowledge Hub and downloadable tools
WEDGE Africa's Knowledge Hub (launching October 2026) provides access to a range of resources at different access levels. The following terms apply to all Knowledge Hub materials:
- Free / open-access materials — such as the Pilot Learning Report and policy briefs — may be downloaded and shared freely, provided WEDGE Africa is credited as the source and the material is not modified or used out of context.
- Practitioner tools — such as the Farm Record Book and Facilitator's Guide — are made available under specific licence terms communicated at the point of access. Purchasing or downloading a tool does not transfer ownership; it grants a limited, non-exclusive licence to use it for the purposes specified.
- Organisational licences — for delivery of the GROW methodology — are governed by a separate written licence agreement between WEDGE Africa and the licensee. These Terms do not constitute or replace that agreement.
- Facilitator Academy materials — are provided exclusively to enrolled participants and may not be shared, redistributed, or republished.
Accuracy of content
WEDGE Africa takes care to ensure that the information published on this website is accurate, up to date, and consistent with our evidence-led approach. However, we cannot guarantee that all content is always complete, current, or free from error.
In particular:
- Programme data and impact figures are updated periodically and may not reflect the most recent position at any given moment
- Information about partnership opportunities, pricing, and Knowledge Hub availability is subject to change without notice
- Content describing future plans — including the 2026–2030 strategic roadmap — represents our intentions and targets, not guarantees of outcomes
If you identify an error or outdated information on this website, we welcome you to notify us at [email protected].
